The task was for a medical tutorial application which focused on the user experience and journey. Through the use of user stories, prototype testing and crowd testing, the android app proved to be a highly intuitive version of a standard tutorial.
Adding familiar game mechanics and graphics to the app such as find limits and tools, the user is directed to assist a patient in various different emergencies. Due to the significance of the user interaction, the creation of graphics and assets was the main source of theming and the longest task. The application itself used touch and swipe mechanics to allow dressing wounds with various tools using drag and drop, painting and tapping.
Although the product never reached the Android market place, the overall success of the project is clear.
